The event taking place at LEAF on Bold Street will see 10 of the 12 nominees perform and one of them take home the coveted GIT Award Prize! The invite only event will be displaying what a panel of musically inclined judges have picked as the cream of our Liverpool crop out of over 450 applicants!!

Last month, a new night opened at the Kazimier – Gold Soundz. It promised to be an alternative club night, playing classic indie, rock and pop from the 80s and 90s. It could be perceived by some as a night run by those on the scene for those in the know, but I was keen to make it down, partly to support friends but also out of curiosity and an interest in seeing something different on the musical landscape.
